Hello everyone,

Last Wednesday, January 10th, I had the pleasure of starting a workshop series titled ‘Connecting with Archangels’. This series will run until the end of June on a bi-weekly basis. For this first workshop, 4 lovely people joined me and we focused our discussion on Archangel Sandalphon and the Earth Star Chakra.

Chakras are the centres in our body in which energy flows through. There are 7 traditional chakras including base, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown. More and more, modern energy and healing systems now work with 5 additional chakras for a total of 12 which includes the Earth Star Chakra. These energy centres are our connection to the Universe.

The Earth Star Chakra is located approximately 6-12 inches below the surface of the ground (or under our feet) and is our connection to the Earth. Because it works primarily with the energies of the earth, it is very physical in nature. It participates in our physical well-being and connects us to the grounding energies of the earth and our environment. This chakra is usually visualized as brown or black in colour. In the Metatron Colour HealingTM system, the spray linked to Archangel Sandalphon and the Earth Star Chakra is bronze (see channeled message from Archangel Sandalphon below).

Archangel Sandalphon rules the Earth Star Chakra and watches over everything living on the earth including humankind and nature, the mineral and crystal realm, flowers, trees, etc. His energy is very grounding and you can call upon his energy to help you ground to Mother Earth and to your inner self.

One message from Sandalphon that asked to highlight last week was the need for all of us to help in healing Mother Earth, not only through good environmental practices like recycling but also through intentionally sending healing energy to her. Given the turbulent times seen across the world with wild fires, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, extreme temperatures and erupting volcanoes, this gentle angel is asking us to make this a daily practice…sending loving and healing energy to our earth mother. The impact of this simple act sends ripples throughout the world and the added benefit is the loving and healing energy that we receive back from Mother Earth.

Here is an example of guidance that I received from Archangel Sandalphon while at the cottage last summer. He requested that I sit on the dock and send white light to the earth through the water of our beautiful lake. I visualize white light from the higher realms going through my crown and down through my body and out my feet into the lake. He has asked that I do this every day while at the cottage and when I do, the energy all around is magical. When at home, I visualize the white light going into the earth itself and weather permitting, I do so by sitting on the ground, usually beside my favourite tree in the backyard, a beautiful red maple.

I see you as a child of the earth – part of Gaia and all that is good regarding this beautiful planet Earth on which you reside. I watch over your growth as I do everything living on this earth – the trees, the plants, the birds in the sky – all are part of this reality and this world.

My colour of bronze stands bright and proud – but if you look closer into its reflection you see many colours of the earth. In truth like Metatron I embody many colours – the deep reds and browns of the earth, the blackness of coal, the green of roots and shrubs, the golden core of the earth, the colours of mineral, crystal, and all that which lies beneath our feet. So remember my reflection and my brightness and my soft strength which will always support you, and in terms of crises will hold you when you need carrying….
